Death Benefit

Available on either a Term or Permanent basis, this benefit is paid to the policy beneficiary in the event of the policyholder's death. Term benefits generally start at $100,000 and may go into the Millions, based on the insured's income and need for coverage. Optional Benefits

• Waiver of Premium Rider: Waives the premium due under the policy in the event of total disability.
• Spouse / Child Rider: Adds coverage for a spouse and/or children under the policy. This rider is term insurance and limited amounts are available, based on the death benefit of the overall policy.
• Accelerated Death Benefit: Allows for an early payout of the death benefit in the event of a terminal illness.
• Accidental Death Benefit: Pays an additional death benefit, above and beyond the policy death benefit, in the event of an accidental death.

Tips for Reducing Your Life Insurance Premium:

1. Quit smoking! You must be tobacco free for 12-months or more before you will qualify for non-smoker rates.
2. Maintain a healthy body weight.
3. Be a safe driver.
4. Get and keep all chronic health conditions under control.
5. Don't over-insure - periodically check your life insurance policies to be sure that they still meet your needs. You want to be properly insured - not over- or under-insured.
